Bill Shrosbree
Bill started working for Gordon and Smith Surfboards doing repairs and sanding when he was 13.
After graduating from high school he moved up north and started doing repairs and sanding for Greg Noll.
In 1965 Wayne Land (from Wind an Sea) taught Bill to shape and he went to work for Rick Surfboards gluing blanks and shaping boards. While shaping for Rick Surfboards, in 1966 he shaped the Mickey Dora and Greg Noll Models.
From there he started shaping for Con Surfboards, shaping the Claude Cogins and Steve Bigler Models.
Bill went to work for Bing in 1968 shaping the Dick Brewer, Step Deck & Lotus Models.
Bill's history in the industry is so extensive it will be easier to list some of his other achievements as bullet points (otherwise this could be a book).
• In the 1960's Bill shaped for Gordon and Smith developing the Australian Model, Bill went back to shaping for Gordon and Smith in early 2000 before working with Joel
• In the 70's & 80's he shaped at Sunset Surfboards
• In 80-81 he worked with Wayne Lynch and Rip Curl Surfboards in developing one of the first Tri-fins
• Bill worked for Stewart Surfboards for 12 years starting in the early 80's
• Bill shaped with Dale Velzy, Hansen and Hobie in the 90's

I had no idea is this in Mission Beach, CA I live in P.B and just acquired Con Surfboards please get back to me if you have a chance I'd like to find out more. Mike
