Demo Day

On Saturday I took advantage of SurfRide first demo event in Cardiff. The concept is simple: come to the beach and test any board you want for as long as you want! The idea of trying several boards and developing a better understanding on what's happening in the world of design sounded too good to be true; but there I was... paddling out on a 5'9" Hynson quad, switching to a 6'6" tri - Ben Aipa and ending up my session on a KG Stu Kenson 6'6'' quad/fish!

Regardless the miserable surf conditions (knee high range) I was able to appreciate the KG board and I finally understood the concept of "turning on a dime"; the board has an incredibly tight radius when it comes to quick directional changes. I loved it.
