The Demo event sponsored by manufacturer Firewire has been disappointing compared to the vast selection of boards offered by Boardworks few weeks before, although their boards seemed to be superior as far as quality of materials. I tested a 6'0" twin fin fish, which worked well in sloppy waist-high conditions and a dropping tide. Later in the morning I met with Susan, Steve, B & C and a few others. We surfed again further south (Cherry Hill) in sunny blown-out mushy conditions. We ended up having brunch at Pipes in Cardiff.
