North West Pulse

On Saturday morning the first serious north west swell of the season started filling in along the San Diego coast; I was in the water a little bit late, around 7 am but a thick layer of fog hugged the Cliffs for a good part of the morning keeping the crowds away. Waves appeared to be a bit inconsistent but a few head high sets rolled in. The 6' 8" worked quite well. The tide lingered fairly high all morning. It felt so good to feel some winter power in the water...
