After the Storm

On a surprisingly calm afternoon, after 2 days of high winds and rain, I tapped into the magical landscape of Point Loma for a soulful session in front of the military base. On a dropping tide I paddled out alone for the occasional chest high sets unleashing along the shallow reef.

The glassy surface, silver in color, reflected the image of scattered clouds in the sky. It turned out to be a peaceful and intimate session with a few challenging lefts and rights.

The 6'8" egg performed really well...
