Xmas Delivery

The lack of surf until the 24th made me concerned about Xmas day. I got up on the 25th without many hopes. I called Art for a possible quick session in PB , knee high or so. The surf picked up in an hour delivering shoulder high A-frames. Art and I found ourselves dropping into super fun peaks! Sunny, light off-shores, blue skies and plenty of fast waves to be had! PB at best!!!
Things got even better in the afternoon. On a fast dropping tide to a negative low the reefs came alive. I paddled out at CH in glassy conditions around 2 pm for one of the best sessions of the year! The left was firing on the north side of the reef...exhilarating rides with the classic hollow section at take-off were for grabs! All in all a great day of surf to celebrate a happy Xmas!
